Abstract
The less polar component of the glycoside mixture extracted from the bulbs of M. comosum [whose aqueous extract has been reported to display antitumoral activity] was completely characterized. The glycoside, 5, possesses an .alpha.-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1 .fwdarw. 2)-.beta.-D-glucopyranosyl(1 .fwdarw. 2)-.alpha.-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1 .fwdarw. 6)-.beta.-D-glucopyranosyl chain linked at the C-3 position of eucosterol 1.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
