Abstract
The transmission spectra of CdSexTe1−x(0 ≦ x ≦ 1) mixed crystals have been measured in the spectral range 250 to 400 cm−1 at room temperature. Eleven absorption bands are observed and ascribed to particular two‐phonon combinations. The composition dependence of short‐wavelength optical phonon frequencies (from the edge of the Brillouin zone) is determined. Keywords
