Abstract
High poling fields can cause microcracks along grain boundaries if the average grain size is larger than the critical value. The formation of microcracks is observed in the ternary system Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)TiZrO3. The existence of microcracks results in the reduction of mechanical quality factor QM.Keywords
