Abstract
Summary Twenty-four patients replied to the questionnaire and forty-six have been observed over a period covering recovery from acute trichinosis to two years after recovery from this disease, making a total of seventy patients in all who have been studied. Of these patients, nine or 12.9 per cent showed residual symptoms for varying periods of time. These symptoms included ready fatigue of the muscles, especially of the calves, and some muscle soreness. All symptoms, as far as could be discovered, disappeared after about one year even in the worst cases.
