Abstract
Dowex® resin (H+ form) is a convenient reagent for detritylation of 5′-O-DMT-oligonucleotides. With Dowex, detritylation is rapid and quantitative compared to that with acetic acid. As the liberated dimethoxytrityl species remain bonded to the resin, further processing of oligonucleotides is simplified. Keywords
