Abstract
A vertically oriented double‐crystal attachment was designed and constructed for use on a standard Norelco vacuum x‐ray spectrograph. The attachment achieves the mechanical stability and performance of similar horizontal attachments. It yields usable intensities and resolutions of 1–2 eV, thus providing capabilities for studying molecular x‐ray spectra. Keywords
