Abstract
Inexpensive, fast, reliable, sensitive biosensors and automated devices are being developed for broad-spectrum analysis or specific analysis of single analytes. This paper discusses biosensor research in environmental analysis, focusing on pesticide analysis. Examples are presented from major research fields to serve as a starting point for information about trends and to encourage more research in this interdisciplinary fieldKeywords
