Abstract
We present a theory of the electromagnetic properties of fractal aggregates. We consider the case of an aggregate made of conducting grains placed in a dielectric matrix. We write and solve a differential equation for the current on the aggregate which generalizes antennas equations. We exhibit in particular the dependence of the polarisation of the aggregate with respect to the frequency and to the size of the aggregate. Our theory is valid for planar aggregates (2D with 3D grains) and for 3D ones. Keywords
