Abstract
The disc method of testing bacterial susceptibility to various antibiotics is simple and rapid. It gives reliable, reproducible results, however, only when a standardized technique is performed exactly as described, with all conditions other than bacterial susceptibility that may influence inhibition zone size held constant. The authors describe one well-standardized method and provide a zone-size interpretative chart. Keywords
