Reversibility of the Necker Cube: II. Effects of Various Activating Conditions

Abstract
Hear, white noise, and flicker increased the rate of reversals of the Necker cube. Luminosity of lines, background illumination, and retinal adaptation failed to influence reversal rate. These results are discussed in relation to the concept of activation and the theory of satiation of orientation.
