Abstract
Two proto-oncogenes, Myc and Sis, as well as a putative mouse oncogene, int-1, were localized by in situ hybridization to the distal third of mouse chromosome 15. The respective loci of these genes map to different cytogenetic sites with Myc in 15D2-D3, Sis in 15E, and int-1 in 15F1-F3. These data may be of considerable impact as to the correlation of mouse neoplasias with chromosomal aberrations involving chromosome 15.Keywords
