Abstract
In the metabasidium of Ustilago hordei cross walls are complete. The pattern of septation resembles that found in actinomycetes, in Coccidioides immitis and in Exidia nucleata. Elaborate membrane complexes are associated with the initiation of the cross wall. Keywords
