Abstract
The sera of patients, defective at opsonization for yeast phagocytosis, fix hemolytic complement poorly following incubation with the alternative pathway complement activators, inulin and bacterial [Escherichia coli] endotoxin. This suggests that the defect lies early in the alternative pathway of complement. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
