Abstract
A simple method for the determination of chlordecone in serum and blood employing selective separation and extraction using benzene is presented. The extracted pesticide is analyzed quantitatively by gas chromatography using an electron capture detector and a 10% DC-200 on 100/120 mesh Gas-Chrom Q column. The method is sensitive to a concentration of 10 µg/liter In a 1-mL sample and is highly reproducible showing a within-run coefficient of variation (CV) of 4.1% and an out-of-run CV of 6.9%.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
