A Single Iris 8-Pole Dual Mode Dtelectric Resonator Filter

Abstract
A dual mode 8-pole dielectric resonator filter with a single iris is described. The iris is used to couple the two symmetrical halves of the filter (requiring very small coupling) to reduce its length. Measured results on an experimental filter showed excellent agreement with theory.Keywords
