Polarized spectroscopy of aligned single-wall carbon nanotubes

Abstract
Polarized resonant Raman and optical spectroscopy of aligned single-wall carbon nanotubes show that the optical transitions are strongly polarized along the nanotubes axis. This behavior is consistent with recent electronic structure calculations.Keywords
