Abstract
Cheyletiella parasitivorax (Megnin) (= Ewingella americana Vail and Augustson) is recorded from the fur of cats and rabbits in North America. There is as yet no conclusive evidence that this mite attacks its mammalian hosts or that it is a cause of mange in rabbits and man. Keywords
