Abstract
Four hundred and fifty-four birds of 38 species were collected from various parts of Labrador and examined for hematozoa. One hundred and seventy-one birds (37.6%) of 20 species harbored one or more blood parasites. Species of Leucocytozoon were the most commonly encountered parasites, with a relatively low incidence of Parahaemoproteus recorded. Trypanosoma avium and microfilaria were also noted. Keywords
