Abstract
The anisotropy of Ba-ferrite (BaFe10.4Co0.8Ti0.8O19) particulate media having a perpendicular orientation was studied using ferromagnetic resonance. An effective anisotropy field H k of 2.87 kOe and a gyromagnetic ratio γ/2π of 2.76 GHz/kOe were obtained. Also, the magnetocrystalline anisotropy K u of 1.2×106 erg/cm3 was obtained for the Ba-ferrite particles. Keywords
