Abstract
Transcatheter closure of intracardiac defects is an investigational procedure that is in use at a number of centers in North America and Europe. A radiologist should be able to recognize these devices on a chest radiograph, understand their actual physical appearance, and be able to recognize their expected location. This essay summarizes the indications for, technical aspects of, and radiologic appearance of these devices.Keywords
