Abstract
Summary The influence of various chlorides upon the hydration process of Portland cement and of calcium chloride upon some clinker minerals has been studied by means of chemical and thermoanalytical methods and X-ray diffractometry. From the results, conclusions may be drawn regarding the mechanism of the influence of chlorides upon the hydration process.
