Abstract
The necessity for obtaining evidence of cost justification and the quality assurance of clinical programs, among many other reasons, requires that health care professionals familiarize themselves with the basic concepts and methods that are commonly used in the evaluation of clinical programs. Evaluation is defined as a process of systematic formal assessment undertaken for the purpose of determining the worth of a clinical service or program. An operational framework for comprehensive evaluation of clinical programs is provided. Keywords
