Abstract
This paper presents a method for finding the symbolic reliability expression of a general network. It is based on the concept of logical signal relations. The method has an advantage of not requiring either paths or cutsets at any stage. The node-failure probability is accounted for in the reliability expression without any additional effort. An example has been solved to illustrate the method. The method is compared with existing methods.Keywords
