Verification ofNN(P03)structure predicted by isobar coupling

The data now accumulated is indicative of an inelastic resonance structure in the ${}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}P_0^{}{}_{}{}^{}$ nucleon-nucleon channel below the $N\Delta$ threshold. The position, width, and inelasticity of this structure is consistent with a resonance predicted some time ago, as required by the coupling of the $\mathrm{NN}$ channel to the $N\Delta$ and $N{N}^{*}\mathrm{}\left(1440\right)\mathrm{}$ channels.
