Abstract
An alkoxy radical was identified in single crystals of cytidine-3′- monophosphate x irradiated at 4.2 °K. Proton hyperfine couplings associated with the alkoxy radical absorption were determined from ENDOR measurements. The magnitudes of β as well as γ proton couplings are dependent upon the conformation of the radical. The conformation of alkoxy radicals is analyzed in terms of two dihedral angles and related to observed coupling tensors. Keywords
