Abstract
A 41-year-old man with ameloblastoma of the mandible was treated with surgical resection in 1959. In 1969 a metastatic lesion was found in the lung and mediastinal lymph node metastases were diagnosed. The metastatic route is discussed. In the very few cases hitherto reported the interval between histologic diagnosis and proved lung-metastases has been very long. Keywords
