Abstract
A case of Waldenstroms macroglobulinemia was described and biochemical, serological and cytogenetic studies were performed on this patient and 6 of the members of the family. Chromosome abnormalities were found in 4 relatives, 1 of whom showed a rise in serum gammai-globulin. The genesis of the chromosome aberrations and the serum protein abnormalities were discussed. Keywords
