Abstract
1-Indoleacetic acid, 3-methyl-1-indoleacetic acid, and several of their derivatives were formed from phenylhydrazineacetic ester, and their structures were determined in three different ways. Several of the new compounds exhibited plant growth regulating activity.Keywords
