Immunization against Schistosoma japonicum in chimpanzees by administration of x-irradiated cercariae

Abstract
Although immunization against S. japonicum infection in rhesus monkeys with X-irradiated cercariae has proved to be successful, preliminary study with the same methods and procedures as applied to rhesus monkeys showed no significant effect in chimpanzees.
