Preliminary Laboratory Trials with Novastat in Eimeria tenella Infections

Abstract

Novastat at a level of 0.1% in the feed of chickens with experimental Eimeria tenella infections prevented mortality and morbidity, and oocyst production was negligible. The same level of medication neither enhanced nor inhibited the growth of uninfected birds.
