Abstract
The low-temperature specific-heat data for bcc reported by Castles and Adams have been reanalyzed to extract an excess specific heat under the constraint that the lattice contribution be consistent with a recent elastic determination of . The excess specific heat at 24.40 /mole is fitted well by the specific heat of a collection of identical two-level systems with a level separation of 0.35 K and with a concentration of one system per 3000 helium atoms.
