Abstract
Several types of statoconia. differing in size and shape, have been observed in macula utriculi, the smaller ones in the macular periphery. The larger statonia seem to be formed by the association of smaller units and calcium presence is comparatively higher: In some parts of the marginal zone there exists a granular material in which the presence of calcium is significant. Keywords
