Abstract

Using the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR), we have determined the ratio Γ(

D_{s}^{+}

→φ

l^{+}

ν)/Γ(

D_{s}^{+}

→φ

π^{+}

)=0.49±0.

10_{- 0.14}^{+ 0.10}

. We use this measurement to derive B(

D_{s}^{+}

→φ

π^{+}

).
