Abstract
This review treats of carcinogenesis by As, radioactive sub-stances, anilin dyes, hydrocarbons, and filterable agents; of the chem. comp. of malignant tissues with respect to minerals, nucleic acid, lipids, reducing substances, vits., and tumor-made hormones; of the carbohydrate and protein metabolism of malignant tissues; and of attempts to influence tumor growth by tissue extracts, bacterial toxins, chemotherapeutic agents, and nutritional factors. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
