Abstract
The effect of temperature on the periodicity of nutation in Phaseolus multiflours has been investigated using a mechanical recording system. Frequency of nutation was found to bear a linear relationship with temperature within the range studied (15–27 °C), the cycle length of the movement decreasing as temperature increased. Changes in periodicity follow changes in temperature with no appreciable delay. Keywords
