Abstract
The root bark, stem bark and leaf of Hedranthera barteri have been shown to contain both tertiary and quaternary bases. The seeds contain only traces of alkaloid. Vobtusine and callichiline are tertiary bases present in root bark, stem bark and in leaf. A third alkaloid (spot E) appears to be present in root bark and in leaf. In addition the root bark contains three other alkaloids (spots C, D and F); the leaf contains four different alkaloids (spots G, H, I and J). This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
