Abstract
A method is described for specifying the control flow of a digital system by means of either programming language or graphical constructs. The system is constrained to obey the principles of structured programming and particular attention has been given to specifying concurrent structures (pipeline and overlap structures) using these principles. A worked example showing the use of these design methods is given. Keywords
