Abstract
Ten patients with severe Reiter''s syndrome, a condition of undetermined etiology manifested by urethritis, conjunctivitis and arthritis, were treated with ACTH and/or cortisone when joint symptoms were not controlled by conservative therapy. The course of the disease was not shortened, but fever and arthritis responded to hormone treatment. No complications of therapy were encountered. Keywords
