Abstract
We discuss the pair production of charged Higgs bosons in high-energy hadron collisions, concentrating on supersymmetric models with two Higgs doublets. We show that gluon fusion via quark and scalar-quark loops dominates the usual electroweak quark-antiquark annihilation process if there exist sufficiently heavy quarks or scalar quarks. Keywords
