Abstract

Faecal samples were collected from gliders in a dry sclerophyllous forest in Victoria at intervals from Aug. 1980 until Aug. 1982. Eucalyptus pollen was the most abundant item in the samples. The pollen grains were mostly empty, and it was assumed that pollen provided the glider with protein. The potential importance of A. pygmaeus as a pollinator is discussed.
