Abstract
On histologic and statistic basis a new classification of ductal breast carcinoma is proposed. One group consists of five types, representing different stages in a continuous progression from tubular carcinoma to pure "ductal" type. Another group is comprised by invasive "comedo" carcinoma which is derived from intraductal carcinoma. The development of tubular carcinoma from sclerosing lesions is stressed. Keywords
