Abstract
By means of thermal neutron activation and gamma ray spectrometry the concentrations of chloride, bromide, copper, manganese, sodium and strontium have been analyzed in supra‐ and subgingival calculus from the same teeth of adult humans. Although all the elements analyzed, except manganese, showed higher concentration levels in the subgingival than in the subgingival calculus, the difference was statistically significant only for sodium and strontium. Keywords
