Abstract
The wraparound process for planning unique and flexible services emerged from community-based human-service programs for children and youth exhibiting serious emotional disturbance. The application of wraparound in schools is described and illustrated via examples of local, statewide, and national initiatives. These experiences suggest strategies that can improve the school's effectiveness in serving students with, or at risk of, emotional and behavioral challenges. Keywords
