Abstract
This paper addresses the clinical presentation of menopause, pretreatment assessment for hormone replacement therapy, benefits and risks of this treatment, common hormone replacement regimens and their side effects, and patient management. The case-based discussion focuses on the clinical management of a patient who is considering hormone replacement therapy for menopausal symptoms.Keywords
