Abstract
Three PCR targets (18S ribosomal DNA, B1, and AF146527) and mouse inoculation were compared for 83 samples in the context of congenital toxoplasmosis. These four techniques are not statistically different in terms of sensitivity and specificity. However, further analysis highlighted problems sometimes encountered with PCR diagnosis of congenital toxoplasmosis. Keywords
