Abstract
A simple and very sensitive procedure is described for the quantitative measurement of the depolarization capacity of solns. and its operation illustrated by examples of an instrument based upon it which gives a deflection proportional to the concn. It is also especially adapted for use as a coulomb-meter for small charges. Moreover, small concns. of iodine or Na thiosulfate can be determined very exactly with it by purely electrical means, i.e., without normal solns. The limit of measurement is less than 0.001 [mu]g. of iodine in 1 cc. of soln.
