Abstract
New details are given on the structure of the Canigou-Caranca massif in the axial zone of the eastern part of the French Pyrenees. Crystalline schists, formed during general metamorphism and characterized by the extensive development of augen gneisses, and migmatites, granite gneisses, and granites, formed subsequently in an episode of regional granitization, are distinguished.
