Abstract
Deodhar has assumed the non-diagram lines Kβ3, Kβ and Kη to be satellites of the diagram line Kα1, and not satellites of the diagram line Kβ1 which they seem to accompany. His conclusion is due to the linearity of the satellite semi-Moseley graph, which results when Kα1, and not Kβ1, is considered to be the parent line of Kβ3, Kβ and Kη. In the present note, the linearity of satellite data is shown to be entirely fortuitous. A study of the errors involved supports this conclusion. If we assume that these three non-diagram lines are really satellites of Kβ1, the ΔνR values which result, are of the same order of magnitude as the ΔνR values for other satellites. The conclusion is that Kβ3, Kβ and Kη are probably satellites of the diagram line Kβ1.
