Abstract
Occasionally a patient with an occult neoplasm presents with baffling systemic complications. In this article, the authors describe a case of extensive and resistant venous thrombosis as the sole manifestation of an occult malignancy and, on the basis of a review of the literature, offer a rational diagnostic approach to patients presenting with similar problems.Keywords
