Abstract
Ovarian homo-grafts were embedded in the castrate rat within chambers made from millipore filter membranes with pore size of 0.4[mu] obtained from the Millipore Filter Corp., Watertown, Mass. Comparison of daily vaginal smears and the dry weight of the uterus at sacrifice with controls demonstrated functional survival as evidenced by the continuing production of estrogen from such grafts for 60 days after transplant. Keywords
